Who is responsible
StayUnder is a photo-compression app for iPhone and iPad. This policy covers the app and these support pages. The developer identified as the app provider on StayUnder’s App Store listing is responsible for the processing described here. Contact printhub.help@outlook.com with the subject “StayUnder privacy” for questions or requests.
Your photos stay under your control
Photo contents, filenames, previews and compression results are processed on your device. StayUnder does not upload your photos to a developer-operated server, Adapty or Firebase. There is no StayUnder account or cloud photo library. The app works with the photos or files you select through Apple’s system pickers; a file provider may download a selected item from its own cloud service. The app does not overwrite your originals.
Saving, sharing and local data
The app requests add-only Photos permission when you choose to save copies to your photo library. You may deny or change this permission in iOS Settings. Sharing passes the files you choose to the recipient app or service under its own policies. Copies you save, share or back up remain with those destinations until you remove them there. Prepared files are held in temporary app storage and cleaned up when jobs are released or cleanup runs; an interrupted task may leave temporary data until later cleanup. Preferences and purchase-access information may remain in the app container or platform-protected storage. Uninstalling the app does not cancel or erase Apple purchase records.
Purchases and Adapty
Apple handles App Store payments; StayUnder does not receive your full payment-card details. Adapty loads offers, maintains a pseudonymous installation profile, helps process and restore purchases, and checks access to Pro. It may process app/device identifiers, device model, operating-system version, language, app version, installation/session information, paywall interactions and purchase records such as product, transaction identifiers, time, price, storefront, status and refunds. Purchase processing is separate from the optional Firebase analytics setting and can operate while that setting is off. StayUnder disables Adapty’s IDFA and IP-address collection options, although network infrastructure necessarily handles an IP address when a connection is made. Photo contents, filenames and local paths are not sent to Adapty.
Optional usage analytics
Google Analytics for Firebase is off by default. You can enable or disable Usage analytics in Help & limits. When enabled for an eligible App Store installation, it helps us understand onboarding, photo import and preparation, size-option selection, comparison, save/share outcomes, processing-duration categories, errors, Pro-screen interactions and purchase/restore outcomes. Events may include a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, app/build version, device/OS information, language, access state and broad campaign information. Google may derive approximate region from the network connection. App-defined events do not contain photo contents, filenames, file paths, precise file sizes, the text of your errors or arbitrary URLs. We do not configure a personal user ID or combine the Firebase app-instance identifier with the Adapty profile identifier. The app does not integrate Firebase Crashlytics; Apple may separately process diagnostics according to your device settings.
Changing your analytics choice
Declining optional analytics does not prevent photo processing or purchases. Turning it off stops future collection through this feature, clears the app’s saved campaign history and resets local Firebase analytics data. It does not automatically delete events already received by Google. Events from before consent are not replayed. To request deletion of data already held, contact us; because records use pseudonymous identifiers, we may need additional information to locate the relevant record. Development, sandbox and known internal-test traffic are excluded from the app’s production Firebase event stream.
Campaign attribution and advertising choices
StayUnder shows no third-party ads and does not use app data for cross-app advertising tracking, sale of personal information or targeted-advertising sharing. IDFA collection and Firebase identifier-for-vendor collection are disabled; Firebase advertising storage and personalization are denied. With usage analytics enabled, the app may ask Apple AdServices whether an installation came from Apple Ads and record a campaign identifier or an unknown result. It also records recognized campaign codes from links you open; those codes identify a campaign, not a person. Separately, Adapty’s SDK may send an Apple Ads attribution token as part of its installation profile, independently of the Firebase setting. This supports attribution of purchases. We do not request precise device location.
Support messages
If you email printhub.help@outlook.com, we receive the address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Our email provider also processes that correspondence. We use it to answer questions, investigate issues and handle privacy or purchase requests. Please avoid sending photos, receipts or other personal information that is unnecessary; redact unrelated details. English and Russian support messages are welcome.
Why information is processed and who receives it
We process information to provide requested app functions and paid access, prevent fraud, respond to support, maintain security, and meet legal duties. Optional Firebase product measurement is based on your consent. Where applicable, purchase and support processing relies on performing our agreement with you, legal obligations, or legitimate interests in reliable and secure operation, subject to your rights. Recipients include Apple, Adapty, Google, our email provider and their service providers; destinations you choose receive exported content. Authorities or professional advisers may receive information when legally required. Service providers processing information for us are required to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable requirements. We do not provide photo contents to analytics or purchase services.
Retention and deletion
Temporary photo data is retained for the processing/export task and pending cleanup. Exported copies are controlled by you and the destination. Local settings remain until reset or removed with app data, subject to platform backups. Purchase records are kept while needed to deliver and restore a non-expiring purchase, resolve refunds/disputes, prevent fraud and satisfy legal recordkeeping. Analytics data is subject to the configured Google retention and deletion controls; retention may differ for aggregated reports and backups. We retain support messages only while reasonably needed to resolve the request and handle related security, dispute or legal requirements. We review deletion requests and remove data no longer required, subject to these obligations. Disabling analytics alone does not delete server-side records.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. Contact printhub.help@outlook.com. We may request proportionate information to verify and locate a record; we do not require you to upload your photo library. Some pseudonymous or aggregated records cannot reasonably be linked to a named person. You can change permissions in iOS Settings, switch off Usage analytics in the app, remove local app data, and delete exported copies at their destinations. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Security, international processing and children
We use platform security and encrypted service connections, but no storage or transmission method is risk-free. Apple, Adapty, Google, GitHub and our email provider may process technical or support data outside your country under applicable safeguards and their policies. StayUnder is a general-purpose utility, not a service directed at children, and does not ask children to create accounts or submit personal details. If you believe a child provided personal information to support, contact us to review and remove it as appropriate.
This website and provider information
These pages contain no scripts, forms, tracking pixels or analytics added by us. GitHub Pages hosts the site and may process visitor IP addresses and technical request logs under GitHub’s privacy statement. Opening an external link is subject to that provider’s policy. Changes and contact
We will update the effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice or seek consent where required. Material changes to optional data use do not override your existing choice without an appropriate consent process. Questions: printhub.help@outlook.com.
